Frontier Airlines will upload bases in Chicago and Cincinnati
Frontier Airlines will open a group base at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport and reopen its Chicago crew base.
Both openings are slated for May, following the good deal service’s setting out of a Cleveland institution base in March.
With the three introduced bases, Frontier may have a total of 12. The additions will help with Frontier’s plans to boom out-and-returned flying to almost ninety% of its network by using the use of the spring, up from the present day 50%. By flying greater out-and-returned routes and less complex component-to-factor itineraries, Frontier targets to improve operational reliability and reduce expenses.
In Cincinnati, from which Frontier currently serves 12 places, the service plans to hire approximately a hundred and sixty flight attendants and eighty pilots inside its first one year of operation.
Frontier formerly operated a Chicago base, serving O’Hare and Midway airports, till April 2022. The company expects about one hundred ten pilots in Chicago inside a twelve months of the reopening. The issuer already has one hundred ninety Chicago-based flight attendant positions.
Frontier flies 5 routes out of O’Hare and 13 routes out of Midway.
